Misura per Misura (Measure by Measure) was a project addressing relevant workers and community networks in several districts in Lombardy to overcome fragmentation in the provision of services and facilitate access by the foreign population. Codici’s research and work was concentrated in Milan, Crema, Desio, Garbagnate, Monza, Lodi, Varese and Vimercate.

Starting from the specificities and the needs of each local context, detected through a participatory survey with local service workers, Codici’s intervention worked on three main strands: 1) the improvement in the organisational processes of the services 2) a training for workers concerning the evolution of the migratory flows and the detection of the needs in each territory, and 3) the development and testing of facilitation tools for the orientation of and accompaniment to the services.
